Amazon Announces Most Popular Bible Verse

Philippians 4:67 is one of the most popular verses in the bible, according to data from Amazon.

In the verses, the apostle Paul said to the church, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

The data comes from Amazon’s data of most popular passages from its most popular books. Those books include The Hunger Games, The Harry Potter Series, Pride and Prejudice, and the Bible.

New Tony the Tiger Ad Promotes Gay Pride

Some Christians are upset after Kellogg’s released an ad of Tony the Tiger promoting “gay pride.”

“Wear your stripes with pride,” an advertisement featuring the tiger, was published in the Atlanta, Georgia pride guide last month to go with the city’s homosexual pride march and festival. Kellogg is one of the event sponsors.

“At Kellogg, we’re an evolving culture that respects and accepts employees’ sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression so that all employees can be authentic and fully engaged,” the advertisement reads.

The Tupelo, Mississippi-based Christian activist organization American Family Association posted the advertisement on its Facebook page on Friday.

“Goodbye Kellogg’s, you’re not so greaaattt!!! anymore,” one commenter named wrote.

“Tony the Tiger needs to be worrying about kid’s nutrition, not adult sex lives,” said another named Aimee. “This is perverse.”
